The Heart of Scotland

Set in the heart of Scotland, Kingarth Guesthouse is an ideal base for visiting the Castles of Blair, Drummond, Scone and Stirling, five minutes in the car takes you to Glenturret (Scotland's oldest distillery - now the Famous Grouse Experience), the visitors centre where you can see the Thistle pottery being made and the Stuart Crystal showroom and shop. The Trossachs, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberfeldy, Dundee, Perth, Kenmore and Pitlochry are a few other places of interest easily reached by car. There are plenty of beautiful walks and breathtaking scenery in and around Crieff or, if you prefer, just browse around Crieff's delightful individual shops.

The magnificent panoramic views, diverse wildlife and miles upon miles of little used road and off-road routes throughout the area’s 2,000 square miles will enliven your every sense and as Perthshire is located over the south-east Highlands, you can choose between gently rolling lowlands or rugged Highland tracks and quiet roads.
